Bruce Creswell, age 83, of Knoxville, passed away Friday, July 3, 2009. Mr. Creswell was an Army Veteran and served during WW II. He was 32 Degree Mason and a member of the Masonic Lodge in South Knoxville, a member of the Northside Kiwanis Club, and attended Concord First Baptist Church. Mr. Creswell founded, owned, and operated Creswell Office Supply from 1959-1997, and also owned Office Supply and Equipment until 1997. He was an avid gardener. Survived by: Son and Daughter-in-law: Joey & Jama Creswell Grandchildren: Eleanor & Georgia Creswell Brothers: Jim Creswell & wife Jessie Mae, and Bob Creswell of Chattanooga Sister: Margaret Clevenger & husband Benny Several Nieces and Nephews Former Wife: Pauline Creswell In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to: Alzheimer’s Association, P.O. Box 10088, Knoxville, TN 37939-9910. Funeral service will be 2 PM Tuesday in the chapel of Atchley Funeral Home, Seymour with Dr. Dave Ward officiating. Interment will follow in Boyds Creek Cemetery.
