Loveday, 78, of Maryville, went home to be with the Lord surrounded by his family and friends on Friday, September 9, 2011. He was a longtime member of New Life Ministries. Andy was the former owner of Foothills Radiator and spent his life restoring “old cars” and worked for many area automotive dealers. He was preceded in death by wife, Betty L. (Savage) Loveday; parents, West C. and Angie E. Loveday; sisters, Lola Mae Loveday and Nora B. Crawford. Survivors include daughter, Penny Carroll and husband, Frank; daughter, Kristie Akagi; daughter, Misty Blair and husband, Ron; son, Mike Loveday and wife, Angie; nine grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; sisters, Hazel N. Land and husband, J.L., Betty J. Dunlap, Wanda D. Ledford, Grace C. Dellinger and Cathy A. Butler and husband, Isaac; several special friends, Lynn Cecil, John Scott, Red Strange, Sam Davis, Scooter Finchum, Scoop and Connie Sloan, Lloyd Costner, Ronnie Keller, Roland McClanahan, J.L. Land, Jack Kirkland, Jim Dellinger, David Cooper, Denny Wegemer and all his friends at Sunshine Restaurant. The family will receive friends at Sherwood Chapel on Tuesday, September 13, 2011 from noon-2 p.m. with funeral service to follow at 2 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in honor of Betty and Andy Loveday to New Life Ministries, 5939 Highway 411 S, Maryville, Tennessee 37801.
