He was a U.S. Army veteran and served in Vietnam. He was preceded in death by his parents, Aubra and Lossie Cusick; brothers, Robert, Sam, and Dan Cusick; sister, Bertha Mount; nephews Eddie and Terry Cusick, Michael Owens.
