WILKES , RUBY ROSALEE CUNNINGHAM - age 66, of Knoxville, departed this life on Sunday, November 29, 1998, at Baptist Hospital. She was a member of Marble City Baptist Church and retired from Bearden Cleaners. Ruby was a friend to all and "Mamaw" to many. Preceded in death by husband, Charles Wilkes and parents, Lee and Daisy Cunningham. She will be missed by her loving and devoted family; sons and daughters-in-law, Steve and Diane Wilkes , Donnie and Darlene Wilkes , Kenny Wilkes and Fiancee' Jennifer Lewelling; granddaughters, Beverly Pippin and husband, Jeff Pippin, Casey Wilkes and Tracia Wilkes ; great-granddaughter, Devin Pippin; sister, Betty Van Halton, all of Knoxville; brothers and sisters-in-law, Lucille and Clyde Townsend, Betty and Ralph Webb, Tommy and Janie Wilkes , Margie Wilkes and many special aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and friends. Family and friends will meet 9:45 a.m. Wednesday at Knott Cemetery on Knott Road for a 10 a.m. graveside service with Rev. George Williams and W.C. Thornton officiating. Family will receive friends 6-8 p.m. Tuesday at Rose Mortuary Mann Heritage Chapel.
