Jimmie Doyle Curtis, 67 of Maryville, passed away Friday morning on February 16, 2007 at his family home. He is preceded in death by his parents: James Homer Curtis and Ora Bell Clabo Curtis; brothers: Oscar, Tommy, Bobby, and Michael (Mikey) Curtis; and grandson: Nathan Curtis. Jimmy is survived by his loving wife: Zora Ruth Nicholes-Curtis; sons and daughters-in-law: Paul and Teena Curtis of Vonore, Jeff and Kim Curtis of Maryville; grandchildren: Ashley, David, Molly, Zachary, and Madison Curtis; brothers, sisters, and spouses include: William, Margaret, and Debbie Curtis, Charles (Bucky) and Barbara Curtis, Danny and Donna Curtis, Robin and Sheila Curtis-Lane, all of Maryville, Larry and Evelyn Curtis-Cummings of Greenback, and Ricky and Debbie Curtis of Oak Island, NC. The family and friends will meet at Memorial Funeral Home in Maryville at 1:30 p.m. Thursday February 22, 2007 to proceed to Grandview Cemetery for a 2:00 p.m. Military Graveside with The Volunteer State Veterans Honor Guard officiating. Friends may call at their convenience at Memorial Funeral Home until 5:00 p.m. Wednesday and until 1:00 p.m. Thursday. Condolences may be emailed to memorialfh@yahoo.com
