Vivian Joyce Moore made the transition to Heaven on Friday, March 4, 2016, at Tennova North Hospital after a long and courageous battle with Parkinson's disease. Joyce was a graduate of Parrottsville High School and Knoxville Business College. She was a member of Fowler's Grove United Methodist Church and the Cocke County Democratic Women's Club. Most of her adult life was spent in Accounts Payable at a local business. Her early years were spent with a loving family who treasure her and will miss the "Joy" she brought into their lives. Joyce would bring any stray or hurt animal into her home. Her favorites were her kitties that loved her and will mourn her passing. She was preceded in death by her parents Lloyd and Beatrice (Vick) Moore , uncle and aunts Ernest and Willie Kate Allen, Jean Wilson, and Nell Gibson, and cousins Eddie Allen and Timmy Ottinger. Joyce is survived by her sister Vickie Moore , uncle Jim and Bobbie Linderman, cousins Sherrel and Annette Ottinger, Tom and Sandra Allen, Mike and Peggy Ottinger, Wade and Cheryl Lang, Alex and Chelsea Shapiro, Casie Ottinger, Tommy and Elaine Allen, Chris and Alecia Allen, Dale and Missy Masoner, Todd and Sandy Allen, Jeff and Debbie Thornton, James and Tracy Linderman, and a host of other cousins, special friend Pat Dyke, and her church family at Parrottsville United Methodist Church. A Celebration of Life will be held Sunday, March 6, 2016, at 2:00 p.m. at Parrottsville United Methodist Church. The family will gather to meet friends and family in the Fellowship Hall following the service. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Newport Animal Shelter, 420 Humane Way, Newport, TN 37821, or to the Michael J.
