Anna L. Davis Tipton age 96 of Seymour, TN passed away on March 14, 2010 at Fairpark Healthcare Center in Maryville, TN.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Jake M. Tipton; daughters, Emma Rachel Tipton Garner and parents, “Short” John and Elizabeth Davis and sister, Rebecca Smelcher and brother, Frank H. Davis.
She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Johnie and Louise Tipton also of Seymour; granddaughter, Janet Tipton Vaden; great granddaughter, Kara Lee Vaden Davis and husband, Rev. James Davis all of Seymour; granddaughter, Diana and Alan Lyle; grandson, Michael and Mellissa Garner; great grand children, LeAnna Garner, Billy Garner and son-in-law, Herman Garner. Survived by sister, Virginia Reagan and brother, Elmer Davis and George and Betty Cutshaw Davis and a host of nieces and nephews and friends.
She was a member of Old Chilhowee Baptist Church. She spent her last days at Fairpark Health Care center where she received the best of care. No one could ask for more. I thank the health care center for being so good to my mother. “Thanks”
The body will be at Rawlings funeral home in Sevierville, TN. You may call at your convenience. The funeral service will be Monday, March 15, 2010, at 7:00 p.m. in Rawlings chapel with the Rev. Jack Hitch and Rev. James Davis officiating.
Interment will be at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, March 16, 2010 at Old Chilhowee Baptist Cemetery.
