Latham, age 51 of Sevierville, went home to be with his Lord and his Dad on Wednesday, July 2, 2008. Randy was born on February 2, 1957. He was employed by the U.S. Postal Service. He was a member of First Baptist Church and a member of the gospel group “Witness.” He was proud to be a member of this group and considered this to be his ministry for his Lord and Savior. He was preceded in death by his father Benton Latham, grandparents Verlin and Dixie Latham, Arthur and Dora Etherton, and father-in-law Harold Chance. Survivors include: Loving wife: Peggy Latham Loving mother: Evelyn Latham Step-daughter: Lori Ogle Vaziri and husband Sam Step-son: Steven Ogle and wife Sierra (“Casey”) Step-grandchildren: Katelyn and Madelyn Ogle, Taylor Floyd Sister- in-law: Sharon White and husband Reece Niece: Shareece White Nephew: Jordan White Mother-in-law: Anna Kate Chance Aunts: Eula Catlett and husband Gene, Geneva Strange, Iva Suttles, Betty Tarwater and Frances Patty Uncles: H.V. Jerry Hyder and Coach Steve Brewer officiating. Interment will follow in Shiloh Cemetery.
