Jessie was born on January 10, 1938, and resided in Bybee for the majority of her life. She was member of the Riverview Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Alfred Stokely; mother, Dora Watts Lane; father, Cecil Lane and brother, Jack Lane. She is survived by brothers and sister-in-laws, Bill and Brenda Lane, George and Frances Lane; sister, June Lane Cody all of Newport; nieces and nephews, Phillip and Robin Lane, Sonja and Dale Turner, Dwayne and Abby Lane White; also several great nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Sunday at the Brown Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Dale Robertson and the Rev. Alvin Watts officiating. Burial will be in the Union Cemetery. Family will receive friends Saturday evening from 6 till 8 p.m. at the funeral home. Brown Funeral Home in charge.
