Joy Sue Hill, age 64, of Cosby, went to be with the Lord on Thursday, May 19, 2016after a lengthy illness. She was a member of New Salem Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, Mack Ball and Beulah Moore; brothers, J. I. Ball and Buster (L.V.) Ball. She is survived by her husband, Charles ‘Wilbur’ Hill of Cosby; brothers, Dolman (Red) Ball, Everette Moore; sisters, Edna Ball, Beulah (Dean) Crumbley all of Newport; also several nieces, nephews, other family and friends. The family will receive friends from 11:00 am – 1:00 pm Saturday, May 21, 2016 at New Salem Baptist Church with funeral services following at 1:00pm with Rev. Ben Whitted and Rev. Johnny Williamson officiating. Burial will be immediately after the funeral in the Shults Cemetery. In lieu of flowers the family requests that memorials be made to Manes Funeral Home to help with funeral expenses. Family and friends may sign the guest register on line at: www.manesfuneralhome.com.
