Ina Fox Finchum, 99, of Sevierville went home to be with her loved ones that were waiting for her to join them in their heavenly home on January 27, 2004. She began her glorious journey at Sevier County Health Care Center.
At an early age Ina joined the Fox United Methodist Church where she remained as a faithful member and later became the oldest living member of the church. During her life she assisted her husband, Kermer maintaining a farm.
Waiting for Ina in heaven was her husband, Kermer Finchum; parents, Daniel "Cas" and Julia Ann Walker Fox and her sister, Vida Fox.
Leaving behind to rejoice at her homecoming, but saddened by their loss is her brother, Rex Fox and his wife, Bonnie; nieces, Joyce McConnell and husband Jasper, Sharon Jordan; great nieces, Cheri Boykin and Scott McConnell. Besides the immediate family 2 sisters-in-law, several nieces, nephews from Kermer’s family and a host of friends whose lives she has touched will miss Ina.
Service will be 7:00 p.m. Thursday, January 29, 2004 at Rawlings Funeral Chapel with Rev. Mariel Myers officiating. Interment will be 10:30 a.m. Friday, January 30 at Smoky Mountain Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends from 5-7:00 p.m. Thursday, January 29 at Rawlings Funeral Home.
