Roy Cole, age 82 of Sevierville, passed away Saturday, June 28, 2014.
He was an active member of First Baptist Church, Pigeon Forge. He served in the United states Army from 1953-1955
He was preceded in death by his parents, Julius and Sarah Cole, daughter, Linda K. McCarter, grandson, Ray Lynn McCarter, and sister, Hettie Watson.

Son-in-law: George Lee McCarter
Grandchildren: Julius L. and Kendra McCarter, Roy and Sonya McCarter, Melisa K. McCarter, Sarah L. Taylor, Alan W. McCarter, Angela C. McCarter, Isaac T. McCarter
Great Grandchildren: Nathan L. McCarter, Linda M. Taylor, and Zachary L. Taylor.

Roy Cole and Julia Jane Shelton were married on Dec. 31, 1949, by the Rev. O. C. Craig.
They have one daughter, Linda K. McCarter and husband George.
Grandchildren are Julius, Roy, Melisa, Alan, Sarah, Angela and Issac; one grandson, Ray, is deceased. They also have three great-grandchildren, Linda Marie, Zachary and Nathan.
