  Miss Jalia Fox, 50, of 2406 McCalla Avenue, died at Ft. Sanders Hospital at 10:15 a.m., Monday, April 16, 1945. Surviving are brothers, Osville Fox of Sevierville and Ernest Fox of Seymour; sisters, Mrs. W.M. Thomas, Knoxville, Mrs. Elmer Allen and Miss Minnie Fox both of Detroit, Miss Mollie and Miss Laura Fox of Sevierville. She was a member of Byrd's Chapel Church. Services were held Tuesday, at 3 p.m., at Byrd's Chapel, Sevier County, the Rev. R.E. Regan, Rev. J.F. Lynch and Rev. Myers officiating. Burial was in the church cemetery. Pallbearers: Hobert, Roy, Grady, and Garfield Layman, Blaine Chaney and Elmer Lewis.
