April 28, 1922 - January 20, 2018 Grace Gann Clark Ward, age 95 of Sevierville, went to her heavenly home on Saturday, January 20, 2018. She had been a resident of Brookhaven Nursing Home in Kingsport, TN. A native of Sevierville, she was the daughter of the late Keet and Lydia Gann. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husbands Homer Clark and Oscar Ward; siblings Cora, Bonnie Kate, Edith, Roosevelt, Billie Ruth, and Gertrude; her daughters Shelby Scanlan and Charlotte McBride; and two grandchildren Kim (Clark) Proffitt and Danny Scanlan. Left to cherish her memory are her sons Cecil and Jim Clark, Smoky and Jerry Ward, several grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. The family would like to extend a special thank you to Cecil Ward, who visited and helper her over the years. Also, Grace is smiling down from Heaven and is so proud and grateful to her grandchildren, Gina Eslinger and Jama Trent who have been her angels here on earth, visiting and helping take care of her. The family will receive friends 10 AM – 11 AM Wednesday with a Celebration of Life service to follow at 11 AM in the West Chapel of Atchley Funeral Home, Sevierville. Grace’s niece, Kathy Tarwater will officiate. Interment will follow the service in Middle Creek Cemetery.
