Shelbia was born May 29, 1938 to the late Clyde Helton and the late Tisha Chance. She married the love of her life, Howard Lethco on January 25, 1958. Shelbia was a devoted member of Big Springs Baptist Church for over 40 years. She enjoyed life to the fullest and lived it with such abundant joy for those around her. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her brothers, Ralph and Clyde Helton Jr., and nephew, Dale Williams. Survivors: Loving Husband: Howard Lethco Daughter and son-in-law: Karen and James Reading Sons: Ray Lethco and Gerald Huskey Special grandchildren: Nathan (Sara), Justin; great-granddaughter, Elena Special sister and best friends, Thelma and Floyd Williams Special niece: Tammy (Merle) Henley Sisters and brothers: Brenda (Bobby) Loveday, Harrison (Jean) Helton, Billy (Shirley) Helton Several nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Fox Cemetery Fund in memory of Shelbia. Funeral service 7 PM Monday in the West Chapel of Atchley Funeral Home with Brother Jerry Colbert officiating.
