WATSON, GEORGIA MAE PARTON of Claxton, passed away October 10, 2004 after struggling eight years with Alzheimer's and its complications. She was born November 6, 1928 and was a graduate of Sevier Co. High School. She was preceded in death by: husband, Eual Watson; father, Calvin Parton; mother, Willie Frances Lowe Parton; sister, Beatrice Loveday; and beloved sister-in-law, Mary Rene Watson. She is survived by: one brother, Leroy "Buddy" Parton; and seven children, Steve Watson, Benny and Judy Bible-Smith, Patricia and Terry Long, Kimberly Black, Darlene Watson, Theresa Croft, and John Watson; grandchildren, Lisa Roberts, Chuck Bible, Brian Henegar, Jesse Watson, Shauntay Watson, Joe Tyler Watson, Scott and Cameron Beeler, Rock Black; 4 great- grandchildren. She was a Martin Marietta retiree and a member of Riverview Baptist Church. A special thank you to caregivers, Valerie Nemes, Bhula Wilson, and Jeri Bouchard. The family will receive friends Thursday from 5-7pm with memorial services to follow at 7 pm at Woodhaven Funeral Home, 160 Edgemoor Road, with Rev. David Watson officiating. A private interment services will be in the Woodhaven Memorial Gardens.
