He was the Program Director of Life Changers Outreach at Life Changers Church. He enjoyed spending time with his wife, working on his house and playing with his dogs. He also enjoyed watching documentaries and maintaining his vehicles. His hobbies included horseback riding, fishing, farming and hunting. Joshua is preceded in death by his great-grandparents Ernest and Rinda Shultz, Murphy and Ruby P. Shular; grandparents S.E. King, Frances King; step-father Jeffrey Lance Housley, Sr.; step-mother Glenda Sue Baker Shular. Joshua is survived by his wife Katie Shular; son Joshua Paul Murphy Shular; father Garland and Jane Shular; mother Tammie Shular Housley; brother Calvin Shular; grandparents Delmer Shular, Iva Shular; aunts and uncles Christie (Eddie) Williams, Lonnie Shular, Barbara (Richard) Sleight, Sherri (Mike) Sinclair Bryant, Greta Cole, and Mary Lynn Smith; mother-in-law and father-in-law Sandy and Paul Weeks; numerous cousins, many special extended family members and many close friends including Jonathon (Moe) McMahan.
