June 11, 1965 - October 15, 2014
Sammy Dale Ball, age 49 of Seymour, went to his Heavenly home on Wednesday, October 15, 2014. He was a loving father and son. Sammy has been saved and is a true believer in Christ. He enjoyed spending time with his family and the outdoors especially fishing.
He was preceded in death by his father, Rev. Donald Ball; and many adoring family members.
Sammy is survived by his Mother, Vida Ball; brothers, Freddie Ball, and Ricky Ball and wife, Tracy; daughters, Jennifer Ball and fiance, Patrick Rich, and Casey Smith and husband, Thomas; former wife, Dorothy Ball; grandchildren, Alexis Ball and Harleigh Ball, Landon Smith and Mason Smith; nieces, Amanda Mathis and Julia Ball; special friends, Philip Ball and wife, Janet, and Leslie Whittaker; many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Atchley Funeral Home to benefit the family.
Funeral service 4 PM Sunday, October 19th in the West Chapel of Atchley Funeral Home. Interment 11 AM Monday in Burchfiel Memorial Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 PM Sunday at Atchley Funeral Home, Sevierville. www.atchelyfuneralhome.com
