She was previously employed by the Knoxville Police Department, Tennessee Highway Patrol, and Walgreens Drug Store. Nancy was a member of Sevier Heights Baptist Church and a graduate of Young High School. Nancy was a caring mom not only to her son, but to many others. She enjoyed working in her garden and had beautiful flowers that she spent countless hours cultivating and sharing with those around her. She had a love for animals especially her cat, Spencer and lab, George. Preceded in death by father, Fred O. Berry, Sr.; mother, Georgia Rule Berry; brothers, G. Edward Berry and Fred O. Berry, Jr. She is survived by husband, Eddie Lee; son and daughter-in-law, Michael and Lori Price Scott; brother, Dr. David A. Berry, Sr.; several nieces and nephews. A special thank you to her friends Cheri, Susan, her friends at Gondolier Restaurant in Halls and her special niece, Julie "Boolie" Berry. Family and friends will meet at Greenwood Cemetery on Monday, August 15, 2011 for a 12:30 PM graveside service, Rev. Tom King officiating. Memorials may be made to Young-Williams Animal Shelter, 3201 Division Street, Knoxville, Tennessee 37919.
