December 6, 1940 - March 23, 2018 Harold “Howie” Caughron, age 77 of Sevierville, passed away Friday, March 23, 2018. He was born December 6, 1940 in Sevier County. He was married to his beloved wife, Stella King Caughron for fifty-two years. He graduated from Pittman Center High School and attended Tennessee Tech. He served his country in the United States Army for two years. He retired from Alcoa Aluminum Company with thirty three years of service. He was a member of the Mountain Star Masonic Lodge. He served with the Sevier County Ruritans. He was also a member of the Pearl Valley Baptist Church. He was proceeded in death by his parents Jack and Mildred Caughron; Brother-in-laws, Tommy King, Bob R. King, Ben King and Johnny D. King and niece Lisa Lunsford. He is survived by his wife, Stella and his sister and brother-in-law Doris and Clyde Lunsford; Sister-in laws, Carolyn King, Judy King and Karen King. Nephews, Michael Lunsford, John-David King and Thomas Paul King; Nieces Barbara Tinker, Belinda Tinker, Beth Penland, Beverly Smith and Christy King and several great nieces and nephews; honorary grandchildren Gabby, Teagan, and Zion; He will be missed by his special friends Carl Flynn, Troy Manning and Ralph Whaley and his dog, Buddy. In lieu of flowers memorial gifts may be made to Pearl Valley Baptist Church, c/o Rev. Lee Carr, 4063 Richardson Cove Road, Sevierville Tenn. 37867. A memorial service will be held Saturday, April 21 at Jones Chapel Baptist Church of Sevierville. Receiving of family and friends will be from 2:00 until 2:45 with the service following at 2:45. Rev.
