CATLETT, WILSON ASHLEY - age 86 of Greenback, passed away Saturday, July 30, 2005 at the family home. He was a member of Providence Baptist Church, retired from Alcoa Aluminum Company and a veteran of the U.S. Army having served during World War II and he was a farmer. Preceded in death by: son, Wade Ashley Catlett; parents, Otha and Delia Catlett. Survived by: his wife, Gladys Ruth Birchfield Catlett; daughter and son-in-law, Evelyn Jane and Bob Wilcox of Greenback; son, Ronnie Catlett of Greenback; granddaughters and grandsons-in-law, Shannon and Billy Lawson, April and Casey King and Bridget Catlett; great grandchildren, Kayla and Sidney King, Macy and Caden Lawson; sisters, Dixie Shields and Illo Clark; brothers, Eugene Catlett, Buford Catlett and Curtis Catlett all of Sevier County; several nieces and nephews. Funeral service 8:00 pm Tuesday, August 2, 2005 at Miller Funeral Home, Magnolia Chapel, Rev. Casey King officiating. Graveside service and interment will be held 11:00 am Wednesday at Knob Creek Cemetery in Sevier County, with Military Honors provided by The Volunteer State Veterans Honor Guard. The family will receive friends from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm Tuesday at Miller Funeral Home, Maryville.
