He attended Faith United Methodist Church. He also was a member of the DAV Fountain City Chapter. Retired from the US Air Force after 35 years service. Survived by his wife of 54 years Mozell Pryer Catlett; daughter Debbie Key Everett, Knoxville; sons and daughter-in-law Harlen L. and Sharon Catlett, Texas, C. Loyd Catlett and fiancé Linda Gibbons, North Fork Idaho, Ken Allen Catlett, Knoxville; grandchildren, Jared, Angelina and Jeffrey Catlett and Gage Everett; 2 great grandchildren; sisters and brother-in-law, Faye and John Miller, and Lori Catlett; brothers and sister-in-law Bill and Barbara Catlett, Jimmy Catlett, several nieces and nephews. Family and friends will meet at East Tennessee Veterans Cemetery at 11:15 am Tuesday for an 11:30 graveside service Rev. Bill Akers officiating.
