Jackson Benson Maples, of Sevierville, passed away Tuesday, April 28, 2015. He was 26 years old.
Jackson was a kind-hearted, intelligent, humble and sensitive young man who touched the hearts of everyone that came to know him. He showed tremendous courage in his battle with mental illness, a battle he ultimately, tragically lost. Jackson rests peacefully in heaven now, but the family and friends he left behind will miss him every day forever.
He was preceded in death by his grandfathers, Leroy Maples and Jim Case; aunt, Mendy Maples; and uncle, Joe Maples.
He leaves his loving parents, Robin and Jack Maples, sister Milly Rosenberg and husband Logan, grandparents Sue Maples, Emily Case and Bob and Lucy Benson, aunt Sharon Ranz and husband Tom, cousins Chad Ellis, Casper Dodgin, and Courtney Ellis, and many extended family members, faithful friends, and beloved pets Archie and Sugar.
