LONG, LISA - age 43, of Clinton, passed away Thursday, December 3, 2009, at the Methodist Medical Center in Oak Ridge. She was employed at Y-12 for the past 27 years. She enjoyed fishing, camping, gardening and canning, U.T. football and Lady Vol's basketball, and coaching youth basketball. She was preceded in death by her husband of 23 years, Charles Long; father, Fred A. Wright; grandparents, Arthur and Tressie Wright; mother-in-law, Frances Long. Survivors: daughter, Amanda Long; mother, Joyce Hanks and husband, Wayne; sister, Kim Barker and husband, Emory; father-in-law, Herman Long; brothers-in-law, Roger and Mark Long; sister-in-law, Sherry Fowler and husband, Jeff; grandparents, Jim and Rose Bradshaw; nieces and nephews, Christopher Barker and fiancée, Ashley Perkins, Kayla Barker Fields and husband, Travis, Cameron Moore; special friends, Kenny Kanipes, Steve Mayes, Ron Mayes, Michael Bates, Robbie Dabney, Carol Steeleman, The Horton Family; several aunts, uncles, & cousins. The family will receive friends on Sunday, December 6, 2009 from 6-8p.m. at the Holley-Gamble Funeral Home with funeral service to follow at 8:00p.m. in the chapel. Graveside services will be held at a later date. Holley-Gamble Funeral Home in Clinton is in charge of the arrangements.
