Robert “Bob” Cameron Died: 10-04-2004 Robert Lee “Bob” Cameron, age 80, born July 4, 1924, went to be with the Lord Sunday, October 3, 2004, at Mariner Health of Newport after a lengthy illness.
He was a member and deacon of Mountain View Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by his parents, David and Sally Cameron; brothers, Jr., Doug, Andrew, Freddy, and Mack Cameron; sisters, Marie Dyke and Josie Atkins; son-in-law, Edwin Frisbee.
Survivors include wife of 55 years, Savannah Cameron, of White Pine; sons and daughters-in-law, Terry and Tish Cameron and Mike and Yvonne Cameron, all of Parrottsville, and Tommy and Tracy Cameron, Tim and Regina Cameron, and Glenn and Brenda Cameron, all of Newport; daughters, Robin Frisbee and Chris and Dan Mayberry, all of Newport; 21 grandchildren and one great-grandchild; brother, Jim Cameron; sisters, Florence Wiley and Mildred Gann; very special friend, Homer Brown, and very special nephew, Roy Cameron; and a host of nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m. Wednesday at Manes Funeral Home with the Rev. John Brown and Rev Mike Hensley officiating, with burial in Dutch Bottoms Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. Tuesday at Manes Funeral Home.
