Marion B. Kerr, age 82, died on Sat., Dec. 29 in Edina, MN. Born in Joliet, IL, she graduated from Joliet Township High School ('37), and moved to New Lenox in 1948. She worked in the Lockport office of Illinois Bell Telephone Company for 25 years, retiring in 1980.
Preceded in death by her son, Robert Yates; husbands, Howard Yates and Charles Kerr; and her parents, Harry and Martha Brockway.
Survived by her daughter, Marsha Traynor, son-in-law, Jeff, and their two sons, Jason and John (of Minnesota); Robert's two children, Bryan Yates (of New Mexico) and Robyn Yates (of Arizona), and daughter-in-law, Roberta Yates (of New Mexico).
Visitation will be at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, Jan. 19, followed by a memorial service at 11:00 at the United Methodist Church in New Lenox.
Burial will take place at Oakwood Cemetery in Joliet.
