Larry “Jamie” James Reed, 28 of Sevierville passed away Friday, September 17, 2004. At an early age Jamie was baptized into the Baptist faith. Combining his love for the outdoors with making a living, Jamie worked most of his life as a laborer doing construction work. Waiting for Jamie to join him is his grandfather James Mark Reed. Leaving behind to mourn his too soon passing is his mother, Linda Sue Chance of Sevierville; father, Larry Jenkins Reed of Sevierville; maternal grandmother, Betty Cardwell; paternal grandmother, Nellie Reed; aunt, Karen Owenby; uncles, Rick Matheney and Robert Vickery; cousin, Bridgett Karjala and husband Joe and son Jacob; special friend Wylane. Besides the immediate family Jamie will be missed by many other relatives and a host of friends whose lives he has touched during his stay on this earth. Service will be 8:00 p.m. Saturday, September 18, 2004 at Rawlings Funeral Chapel with Rev. Dallas Gibson officiating. The family will meet at Rawlings Funeral Home at 1:30 p.m. to go in procession to Smoky Mountain Memory Garden for a 2:00 p.m. interment service. The family will receive friends from 6-8:00 p.m. Saturday, September 18 at Rawlings Funeral Home. Condolences may be conveyed to the family through our website.
