He was born and raised in Copeland Creek area of The Great Smoky Mt. National Park. Mr. Vance retired from Great Smoky Mt. National Park with 30 years of Government service. He was preceded in death by his wife, Lou Cindy Vance and his parents, Andy and Ida Vance Survivors: Sons; Don Vance, Thomas Vance and wife Mary, and Chester Vance Grandchildren; Marc, Joe, Caleb, and Nathan Vance Great grandchildren; Shelby and Mindee Vance Sister; Nell Hoye Funeral service 7 P.M. Tuesday in the West Chapel of Atchley Funeral Home. Interment 10 A.M. Wednesday in Tudor-Hills Creek Cemetery in Pittman Center. The Family will receive friends 5-7 P.M. Tuesday at Atchley Funeral Home in Sevierville. In lieu of flowers memorial may be made to Mountain Hope Good Shepherd Clinic, 312 Prince St., Sevierville, Tn. 37862
