Georgie Erby Webb, age 93, of Cosby, passed away at St. Anthony’s Memorial Hospital in Effingham, Illinois, Sunday, October 31, 2004. She was preceded in death by her husband, Wilson Webb, and sons, J.B. Webb and Hence Webb. She is survived by her children, Ima Gean McGaha, of Cosby; Joyce Williamson, of Newport; and Cecil Webb, of Knoxville; grandchildren, Jane and Ed Taylor, of Lake City, Tenn.; Debbie and Mike Womack, of Effinham, Ill.; Belinda and John Yuhas, of Newport; great-grandchildren, Samantha Taylor, Victoria York, Sarah and Andrew Womack, Emily Paige, John Allen Yuhas III; great-great grandchild, Adia York; and a host of special friends. Funeral service will be held 8 p.m. Thursday at Manes Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Steven Smith officiating, with burial 10 a.m. Friday in the Waters-Large Cemetery.
