Carroll Hence Webb, age 59, of Newport, passed away Sunday, January 12, 2003 at the University of Tennessee Medical Center. He was preceded in death by his father, Wilson Webb. He is survived by his mother, Georgia Erby Webb, of Cosby; sister and brother-in-law, Joyce and Orlie Williamson, of Newport; sister, Ima Gean McGaha, of Cosby; brother, Cecil Webb, of Knoxville; several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held 8 p.m. Tuesday, January 14, 2003 at Manes Funeral Home Chapel, with Rev. Ransom Hall officiating. Burial will be 11 a.m. Wednesday, January 15, 2003 at Waters-Large Cemetery. Family will receive friends from 6 until 8 p.m. Tuesday prior to the funeral service. Manes Funeral Home in charge.
