He formerly resided in Monticello, KY and attended Fall Creek Baptist Church. Mr. Litton was an Army veteran of WW II. He was preceded in death by his first wife Mary Kate Campbell Litton, and other family members. Survivors: Wife: Alta Barrier Litton Son and daughter-in-law: Jimmy and Sonja Litton Daughters and sons–in-law: Diane and Benny Brown, Judy and Carthel McCoig Grandchildren: Allison Rogers, Lamar McCoig, Summer and Autumn Litton and Leslie Brown.
