February 12, 1932 - July 27, 2016 Resided in Sevierville, TN Maxine Roberts Blalock, age 84 of Sevierville, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, July 27, 2016 after a long battle with Alzheimer's. Mrs. Blalock was a lifelong member of First Baptist Church, Sevierville where she taught Sunday school for over 30 years. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ted Blalock; parents, Orville and Gertrude Roberts; sisters, Jean Roberts, June Roberts and Bernice Campbell; and brother, J.W. Roberts. Survivors include her Sons: Allen Blalock and wife Dee, Mark Blalock and wife Cindy; Grandchildren: Lauren Seals and husband Neal, Leah Blalock, Jake Blalock, Shelby Blalock; Great-grandchildren: Natalie Seals, Walker Allen Seals; Brother: David Carroll Roberts and wife Loretta. The family would like to extend a special thank you to Maxine's caregivers, Annette Lane and Mary VanFassan for their wonderful care. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Children's Ministry of First Baptist Church, Sevierville, 317 Parkway, Sevierville, TN 37862.
