Edna Pearl (Gibson) Hardin, age 88 of Sevierville, passed away Tuesday, November 24, 2015.
She was of the Baptist faith and a member of New Era Baptist Church. Mrs. Hardin was a very loving and caring person. She loved working in her flowers and had a "green thumb".
At one time she sang on the Gene Robertson Farm and Home Hour Radio Show.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Harvey Sloan Hardin; son, Jerry Hardin, daughter-in-law, Suegie Hardin; parents, Sam and Jane Gibson; 5 sisters and 8 brothers.
Survivors:
Son: Eddie Hardin;
Daughters and Sons-in-law: Carolyn and Roger Cather, Pat and Harlan Galyon, Kay Shults and Paul Glenn, Danny Shults;
Grandchildren: Michael and Jeffrey Breeden, Keith Breeden, Tony Hardin and wife Melony, Teresa Galyon;
Great-grandchildren: Erik, Will, Lake and Stephanie;
Three great-great-grandchildren;
Many nieces and nephews;
Friends: Judy Dyer and Dixie Goodman
The family would like to extend a very special "thank you" to the staff of Sevier County Health Care Center.
The family will receive friends 4-6 PM Friday with funeral service to follow at 6 PM in the East Chapel of Atchley Funeral Home with Rev. Buster Gibson and Rev. W.A. Galyon officiating.
