Mrs. Knight was raised in the Pittman Center area where she met her husband of 65 years. They moved their family to Ellejoy in 1952 where she worked many jobs. The most important job she said she ever had was caring for her family. Mrs. Knight was a loving mother and grandmother. She was preceded in death by her husband James Clifford Knight, parents William and Zora Burchell, and sisters Ruth Large and Naoma Willingham Survivors: Son: Edward Knight and Jane Barker Daughter: Irene Baldwin and husband J.R.
