BURNS , GLEN WAYNE - age 80, of Runny Meade Circle, Maryville, died at 3:05 a.m., Wednesday, November 4, 1998, at the University of Tennessee Medical Center. He was a member of the Presbyterian Church and retired from the Aluminum Company of America with 43 years of service. He was preceded in death by his grandson, Bryan Burns . Survivors: wife, Edith Harrill Burns ; son and daughter-in-law, Bill and Barbara Burns of Morristown; daughter and son-in-law, Judy and Austin Morgan of Maryville; grandchildren, Chuck Burns , Prima Simmons, Sharron Waddell, Rodney Morgan and John Morgan; brothers, Clifford Burns of Alcoa, Joe Burns , John Burns and Ray Burns , all of Maryville; sister, Murrell Maples of Maryville. Funeral service is at 8 p.m., Thursday, November 5, 1998, in the West Chapel of Smith Mortuary with Rev. Carl White officiating. Family and friends will assemble at 10 a.m., Friday, November 6, 1998, at East Maryville Cemetery for the interment. Family will receive friends from 6:30-8 p.m., Thursday, November 5, 1998, in the West Chapel of Smith Mortuary, Maryville, 983-1000.
