Dorothy "Ms. Dot" Wright Tinker, age 83 of Pigeon Forge, passed away Thursday, July 10, 2014. She taught Sunday School for more than forty years at First Baptist Church, Pigeon Forge, and at First Baptist Church, Sevierville, where she was most recently a member. "Ms. Dot" will always be remembered for her loving care of children, and she turned this passion into a devoted life of caring for children in Sevier County for forty-five years.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Willard Tinker; grandson, Brad Baldwin; parents, George and Zella Wright; brother, Dewey Wright; and sister, Hettie Ward.
Survivors include:
Children: Judy Baldwin and Richard Robeson, Sandy and Bob Stolz, Dave and Sherri Tinker, Rob and Barbara Tinker
Grandchildren: Robin Franklin and husband Gary, Wesley Baldwin and wife Sarah, Melissa Moss, Chris Beal and wife Rachel, Alex Tinker, Ryan Tinker, Benton Tinker, Blair Ann Tinker, Mark Stolz and wife Tabitha, and Tiffany Brackins and husband Chad
Fifteen Great-grandchildren
Sisters: Lorene Merritt and Lois Massey

Special friends: Barbara Catlett and Ezalee Newman
Graveside service 3 PM Sunday in Smoky Mountain Memory Gardens with Rev. Wesley Baldwin and Rev. Jerry Hyder officiating. Grandsons and great-grandsons will serve as pallbearers. The family will receive friends 4-7 PM Saturday in the West Chapel of Atchley Funeral Home. (www.atchleyfuneralhome.com)
