Mr. Mack A. Gregg, 85, of Parrottsville, died August 14, 2000, at his home.
He was of the Baptist faith and member of Bethel Baptist Church of the Baltimore Community, Parrottsville, TN.
He was preceded in death by parents: Jim and Tennessee Sue Tramell Wyatt; wife: Anna Laura Freshour Gregg; sons: Billy Allen Gregg, Arnold Ray Gregg, and Steven Lynn Gregg; granddaughter: Michelle Gregg; sister: Ethel Gregg Parks; and brothers: Elmer Gregg and Gene Wyatt.
Survivors: sons: Fred B. Gregg and wife, Virginia, of Charleston, TN; and Jack W. Gregg and wife, Lorene, of Parrottsville, TN; three daughters, Margaret Sue Ottinger and husband, Arnold, of Meadowview, VA; Judith A. Charlton and husband, Samuel of Greeneville, TN; and Brenda Maxine Gregg of Parrottsville, TN; brother, Cecil Gregg of Greeneville, TN; grandsons, Mike, Steve and Chris Gregg; Calvin, Mark and Cort Gregg; David and Jimmy Ottinger; and Chad Allen Gregg; one granddaughter: Laura Ann Ottinger Pruitt; and twelve great-grandchildren. Additional survivors include several nieces and nephews and a very special friend, Mae Blazer.
The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 p.m. Wednesday, August 16, 2000, at Costner-Maloy Funeral Home.
The funeral will be held at 8 p.m. Wednesday, August 16, 2000, in the Costner-Maloy Funeral Chapel with Rev. Richard Kinsland, Rev. Terry Ottinger and Fred Gregg officiating.
Interment will be 11 a.m. Thursday, August 17, 2000, at Faubion Cemetery.
Pallbearers: David and Everett Trammell, Max Gregg, E.J. Keistler, Mike Kiser, and Toby Duncan. Honorary pallbearers: Gene Hall, W.C. Smith, Ted Winters, and Leonard Bailey.
Costner-Maloy Funeral Home is in charge.
