He is survived by his son, Eddie Franklin; son and daughter –in-law, Andy and Rosie Franklin; daughter and son-in-law, Sarah and Ken Parham; grandchildren, nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, and a great-great niece and nephews. A visitation will be held Monday, January 16, 2012 from 6-8 p.m. at Highland South Funeral Home, 9010 East Simpson Road, Knoxville, TN 37920 and a Memorial Service will follow at 8 p.m. in the chapel at Highland South Funeral Home with Reverend Kevin Gibson officiating.
