Paul Sylvester Rayfield, age 42, of Sevierville passed away Tuesday, April 18, 2017. He never met a stranger and made friends everywhere he went. Paul played guitar and sang in church and at funerals. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, son, brother, and friend.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Estelle and Wan Rayfield, Jo Reed and Charles Christopher; uncle, Jim Green; and his father-in-law, Charles Arwood.
He is survived by his wife, Jama Rayfield; children, Chasity Rayfield, Jeanie Rayfield, Alivia Rayfield, Samson Rayfield; grandchildren, Isabella Ann Rayfield, Katie Elizabeth Eaker, Sophia Lilliann Smith; parents, Robert and Linda Rayfield; brother, Richie Rayfield; sister, Kathy Rayfield; several nieces and nephews; and many friends.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Atchley Funeral Home to benefit the family.
The family will receive friends 2-4 PM Saturday with a funeral service to follow at 4 PM in the Chapel of Atchley Funeral Home with Rev. Danny Sutton officiating. Family and friends will meet 2 PM Sunday in Mt. Zion Cemetery for interment. Online condolences may be left at www.atchleyfuneralhome.com.
