He was preceded in death by his wives, Donna Jones and Polly Shockley Jones; parents, Hobart and Geneva Jones; son, Kerry Jones; brothers, Bronell Jones and Artie Jones; sister, Olene Valentine. He is survived by his son and daughter-in-law, Terry and Mavis Jones of Des Allemands, La.; daughters and sons-in-law, Debbie and Tim Bryant of Newport, Lisa and Steve Patrick of Oak Ridge, Lori and Robert Styles of Des Allemands, La.; Kris and Dennis Hunt of Cosby, Nikki and Brian Jessee of Rockford, Tenn.; step children, David McArdle and Donna Lynn Knisley; brothers and sisters-in-law, Charlie and Hermi Jones of Las Vegas, Mike and LaReva Jones of Rutledge; sister, Alene Proffitt of Ohio; sister and brother-in-law, Lois and Wayne Askew of Parrottsville; brother-in-law, Bill Shockley of Newport; 15 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
