Stanley R. Knight, 85, of Marysville, formerly of Harrisburg and Union, SC, went to be with his Creator, Tuesday, July 24, 2007.
Mr. Knight was born in Pigeon Forge, IN on April 14, 1922, the son of the late David C. and Alice Justus Knight.
He was preceded in death by his 1st wife of 32 y ears, Pearl Miller Knight, 5 brothers and 6 sisters.
He was a U.S. Navy Veteran of World War II; worked at the Mechanicsburg Naval Depot; and was a self-employed contractor and installer.
Surviving are his wife of 29 years, Trudale Shelton Knight of Marysville; a son, Jeffrey M. Knight of Los Angeles, CA; a daughter, Sherree D. Knight of Marysville; 5 grandchildren; and 6 great-grandchildren.
Dad "Grampa" and his sweet smile will be truly missed by us all.
A memorial service celebrating his life will be held at 3 p.m., on Sunday, August 5, 2007 in the Penbrook Church of God, with Pastor Philip J. Scott officiating.
Arrangements are being handled by the Michael J. Shalonis Funeral Home, Marysville.
