McMAHAN, GOLDIE L. (TOOTIE) - age 67, of Knoxville, went to be with our Lord, Monday, July 15, 2002, after a lingering illness. Retired employee of Allied Signal. Tootie was of the Baptist faith, and will be sadly missed by all of those who knew her. Loved ones gone before her include: father, James E. McMahan mother, Eugenia C. McMahan sister, Theo McMahan, and brother, Fred McMahan. Survivors: sisters, Della McMahan, Mildred Compton, Juanita Koontz Wagner, Charlotte White, and Alma Lee Roberts brothers, Dewey McMahan and Troy McMahan, and several nieces and nephews. Family and friends will meet 1:45 p.m. Thursday at Sherwood Memorial Gardens for interment service at 2 p.m., Rev. Ron Russell officiating. Nephews will serve as pallbearers. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the U. T. Hospice, 2200 Sutherland Ave., Suite 102, Knoxville, TN 37919. Arrangements by Mynatt's.
