He was a member of First Baptist Church in Sevierville, a member of the American Legion, a former Assistant Chief of the Sevier County Volunteer Fire Department and a past member of the Sevierville Jaycees. Mr. Mullins was a veteran of World War II having served in Central Europe. Citations and medals he received were the WWII victory medal, good conduct medal, American Theater ribbon, European African Middle Eastern Theater ribbon with one bronze service star. Mr. Mullins was owner and operator of Mullins’ Mountain View Service Center on the Parkway in Sevierville for 42 years. Survivors: Wife of 60 years: Willie M. Mullins Sons and daughter-in-law: James R. (Chuck) Mullins of Manchester, TN; Richard Blake and Sandra Mullins of Columbus, Ohio Daughters and sons-in-law: Patsy Jo and Cecil Hatcher of Knoxville,TN; Nelli and Charles Walker of Wilmington, NC Grandchildren: Cathy Hickerson , Leslie Kay Mullins, Joey Fred Wilson, Barry Wilson, Joshua Mullins Great-grandchildren: Kourtney Lei Wilson, Charlie Hickerson, IV, Tyler Joseph Wilson Brothers: Lesley O.
