November 7, 1961 - January 21, 2018 Linda Sue Williamson, 56, of Newport passed away on Sunday, January 21, 2018. She enjoyed riding her trike motorcycle with friends. Linda was passionate about helping others and rode in the Smoky Mountain Thunder Memorial Rides and Toys for Tots. She loved cruises and traveling. Linda was a loving fiancée, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend. She was preceded in death by her father, Liam Maples; mother, Josephine Galyon; step-father, Glenn Galyon; niece, Brandy Maples; nephew, Tony Lee Maples; and foster-father, Charles Ward. Linda is survived by her fiancé, John Keistler; sister, Liz (Odell) Ball; brothers, Tony Maples and Steve Maples; sons, Buddy (Angie) McCarter, and Jonathan (Karen) Ramsey; daughter, Tina (William) McCarter; grandchildren, Autumn, Ashley, Mase, Jordan, Isaac, Morgan, and Melanie; nieces and nephews; special family, E.J. Papaw Keistler; foster-mother, Linda Ward; foster-sisters, Patty and Sandra; and a host of extended loving family members and friends. The family will receive friends from 5-7 pm Wednesday, January 24th with the funeral service to follow at 7 pm in the West Chapel of Atchley Funeral Home, Sevierville. Family and friends will leave in procession 11:30am Thursday from Atchley Funeral Home to Thomas Cemetery for the graveside service.
