She was preceded in death by her husband, James Lindsey; parents, Lee and Jean Guffey; sisters, Lora Brooks, Beulah King, and Ruth King; brother, Samuel Guffey. She was a lifetime member of Valley Grove Baptist Church. Survivors: Daughter: Sharon Lindsey Several nieces and nephews and other extended family members Special thanks to the staff of NHC Knoxville. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Family Life Center of Valley Grove Baptist Church 9000 Old Sevierville Pike, Knoxville, TN 37920 or the charity of your choice. Funeral service 7 PM Monday in Atchley’s Seymour Chapel with Rev. Jeff Spangler, Dr. William Sims III, and Dr. Chad Rittenhouse officiating. Interment 12 noon Tuesday in Highland South Cemetery.
