BELL, MRS. HELEN RHODES - of LaFollette, TN. died at 1:09 a.m. Friday, April 22, 2005 at Baptist Hospital of East Tennessee. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Lafollette, TN. She graduated from Fort Sanders School of Nursing and retired after 30 years of service as a Clinical Coordinator of Medical/Surgical Unit at Fort Sanders Regional Medical Center.
Preceded in death by: parents, Earl and Birdie Rhodes; sisters, Anna, Mildred, and Edna.
Husband of 61 years, William C. Bell of LaFollette; sons and daughters-in-law, William C. Jr. and Robin Bell of Lake City, Dr. Donald M. and Beverly Bell of Knoxville; grandchildren, Rebekah Ann Bell, Sgt. Jonathan Bell and wife Lisa; great-grandson, William Lee Bell; several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Building Fund of First Baptist Church, 255 West Central Avenue, LaFollette, TN 37766. The family will receive friends 12:30 to 2:00 p.m. Sunday at Stevens Mortuary and go in procession to Sherwood Memorial Gardens for 2:30 p.m. funeral service and entombment with Rev.
