She was an outstanding citizen of Seymour and Sevier County, having worked for 17 years as a housekeeper at Wayoma Hotel in Seymour. She loved singing karaoke, gardening, and making people laugh. She was preceded in death by her mother Tilda Jane Abbott, father Roy Green, infant son David Lee Abbott, brother James Abbott, and sister-in-law Evelyn Abbott.
