Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Friday, June 9, at Bethabara Baptist Church. The Revs. Earl Holden and James ''Bo''Parris officiated. Burial was in Swain Memorial Park. A native of Swain County, he was a son of the late John W. and Ruth Lambert Huskey and husband of the late Lillie Mae Huskey , who died May 31. Surviving are two daughters, Joyce Lynne Huskey of Whittier and Paula Arch of Hendersonville; two sons, Johnny F. and Darryl Junior Huskey , both of Whittier; three brothers, Beecher Huskey and Sanford ''Ham'' Huskey , both of Bryson City, and Woody Huskey of New York; four sisters, Francis Green, Phillis Eller and Judy Bird, all of Cherokee, and Caroline Harris of Campbellsville, Ky.; and three grandsons.
