Wayne Huskey, age 66, of Knoxville, died Sunday, April 4, 2004 at Ft. Sanders Parkwest Medical Center.
He was born February 18, 1938 in Blount County, the son of James Noah Huskey and Josie Hurst Huskey.
Mr. Huskey retired from Sears and was a member of Lakeview Baptist Church of Rockford.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by brothers and sisters-in-law, Newell and Viola Huskey, Paul and Dora Huskey, Clyde Huskey; brother-in-law, Luther Effler; and mother and father-in-law, Carl and Lou King.
He is survived by his wife, Rainelle King Huskey; sons, Jeffrey Dale Huskey and Kenneth Alan Huskey and his wife Greta; daughter, Lorrie Ann Ramsey, all of Knoxville; sister, Reba Effler of Seymour; sister-in-law, Beulah Huskey of Maryville; brother-in-law, Dayton King and wife Edith of Oak Ridge; grandchildren, Robert Ramsey, Cody Ramsey, Alan Huskey, Christina Huskey King and husband Terry; and great-granddaughter, Ariel Renee King; and several nieces and nephews and many special friends.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, April 7, 2004 at 8:00 p.m. at Weatherford Mortuary with Rev. A. J. Crawford and Rev. Bo Selvedge officiating. Graveside services will be held on Thursday at 11:00 a.m. at Oak View Cemetery in Walland. The family will receive friends on Wednesday from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. at Weatherford Mortuary, Oak Ridge (www.weatherfordmortuary.com)
