She was a longtime member of Glades Lebanon Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Bill Morton; daughters, Patricia Cooper and Susan Ellingwood; parents, Walter and Mintha Ogle; sisters, Nola Ogle and Evie Farley. Nettie is survived by her sons, Bob (Linda) Morton, Jerry (Amy) Morton, and Tony Morton; daughters, Teresa (David) Burkett, and Barbara Bright; grandchildren, Hollie Withey, Dan Cooper, Patricia Coppenger, Robert Ellingwood, Halc Burkett, Billy Burkett, Levi Morton, Kelsey Morton, Jerrica Morton, Gina Mikles, Misty Jenkins, Kyan Stone; 17 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great-grandchildren; 3 nieces and 1 nephew. The family wishes to especially thank all the caregivers at Tennova Newport Convalescent Center. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Glades Lebanon Baptist Church, 820 E. Highland Drive, Gatlinburg, TN 37738. Funeral service 7 pm Tuesday in the West Chapel of Atchley Funeral Home. Interment 10 AM Wednesday in Proffitt Cemetery.
